Open access & licensing. All articles publish under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence. Authors retain copyright and may deposit any version in a repository with no embargo. Content is permanently preserved (e.g. PKP PN) and every article carries a registered DOI.
We list a service only once the journal is formally accepted into it. Below is our current, accurate status.
Why this matters. Listing indexes a journal has not been accepted into is a hallmark of predatory publishing. We update this transparently as each acceptance is confirmed.
Our board comprises practising clinicians and academics with verifiable affiliations. Every member listed has agreed to serve and their details can be confirmed independently.
Please read in full before submitting. Submissions must be original, unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere; all are screened for similarity.

IJPAHS operates double-blind peer review: author and reviewer identities are concealed from one another, and each manuscript is assessed by at least two independent experts.
Stated timelines are targets, not guarantees. Decisions rest solely on scientific merit, never on authors' nationality, institution, gender or seniority. Editors with a conflict of interest are recused.
After review the handling editor recommends Accept, Minor revision, Major revision, or Reject; the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision. Authors may appeal in writing; appeals are considered by an editor not involved in the original decision, in line with COPE guidance.
IJPAHS follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ICMJE and WAME. All parties — editors, reviewers, authors and the publisher — are expected to uphold these standards.
AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Any use in preparing a manuscript must be disclosed, and authors remain fully responsible for the content. Reviewers must not upload confidential manuscripts into AI systems.
Submissions found to involve plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, image or citation manipulation, fraudulent authorship, undisclosed competing interests or simultaneous submission will be rejected. Published articles later found to involve such malpractice will be corrected or retracted, and the relevant institutions and funders may be informed. Allegations are investigated following the relevant COPE flowchart, with the author given the opportunity to respond.
Corrections are issued as a corrigendum (author error) or erratum (publisher error); serious problems lead to a retraction notice following COPE guidelines. The original article is never removed — the published record is preserved and clearly annotated. To report a concern: ijpahs.editor@gmail.com.
IJPAHS is open access and charges a single, transparent fee — only after acceptance. There are no submission, page or colour charges.
Volume 1 is free. As a founding gesture, no article processing charge applies to any article accepted for our inaugural volume. Standard charges below apply from Volume 2 onward.
| Author category | Volume 1 (inaugural) | From Volume 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Indian authors (corresponding author in India) | Free | ₹2,300 |
| International authors | Free | $50 USD |
Category is determined by the corresponding author's country. Applicable taxes, if any, are additional.
There is no charge to submit and none during review; the APC becomes payable only once a manuscript is accepted, and ability to pay never influences editorial decisions. Authors facing hardship — including students and authors from low-income settings — may request a partial or full waiver at submission, assessed independently of review.
Submissions are currently accepted by email while our online portal (Open Journal Systems) is being set up. Here is how to submit:
